Investigators say 33-year-old Lindsay Szuba, of Webster has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI following a fatal crash Monday afternoon in Webster. 54-year-old Roger Cook, of Webster died from injuries sustained after his vehicle was hit head-on.

A woman has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI following a fatal crash in Webster.

At around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a head-on crash at the intersection of Empire Blvd. and Gravel Road.

Investigators say 54-year-old Roger Cook, of Webster, was driving southbound on Gravel Road entering Empire Blvd. when 33-year-old Lindsay Szuba, of Webster, was heading northbound on Empire Blvd.

Szuba crossed the center line and struck Cook's car head-on.

Investigators say Cook was transported to Strong Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Szuba and a passenger in her car were both treated and released from the hospital.

An investigation revealed Szuba was driving drunk at the time of the crash. She is charged with vehicular manslaughter in the second degree, DWI, and various traffic offenses.

Szuba was arraigned and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $7,500 cash or $10,000 bond.
