Six people were hurt, including two students, following a crash involving a school bus from the Brockport Central School District and a minivan.

Deputies said the minivan was stopped at a stop sign, facing north on Gallop Road in Spencerport, when driver attempted to turn left (west) onto Rt. 104 in front of the school bus which was traveling east through the intersection around 8:40 a.m. Thursday.

The bus was transporting two students with special needs from the BOCES Creekside School on O'Connor Road in Fairport, according to deputies.

Those transported to the hospital include the van driver and passenger, the school bus driver, a bus monitor, and two students.

The driver of the van was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
