Diana Cervantes, of Williamson, recently received $4,300 from the Helen and Michael Casper Fellowship for Internship Support from SUNY Oneonta. Cervantes, a child and family studies major, completed an internship at Agri-Business Child Development Center in Red Creek.
Tylea McCarthy-Walker, of Marion, recently received all-region honors from U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, and qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin. McCarthy-Walker is a member of the SUNY Oswego women’s track and field team.

Mary Hatfalvi, of Palmyra, and Victoria Johnson, of Walworth, graduated with high distinction in May 2018 with Bachelor of Science degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. Hatfalvi, who studied robotics engineering, was named to the spring 2018 dean’s list. Johnson majored in biochemistry.
