The man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend in Sodus two years ago was found guilty Thursday. Alvin Pinkard Sr. was accused of killing Josephine Chiaverini in October of 2016.

The man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend in Sodus two years ago was found guilty Thursday.

Alvin Pinkard Sr. was accused of killing Josephine Chiaverini in October of 2016.

According to the Wayne County district attorney, Pinkard has now been charged with murder in the second degree and faces a maximum of 25 years to life.

There is no date set for his sentencing.

After being accused, Pinkard was held in Wayne County Jail without bail.
