Wednesday marks two weeks since a 14-month-old boy in Sodus disappeared.

Investigators still don't know what happened to him, but they aren't giving up the search. They will be back out on a farm off Joy Road looking for Owen Hidalgo-Calderon Wednesday morning.

Just one week ago, investigators found Owen's mom Selena Hidalgo-Calderon buried in nearby woods. Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts believes she was murdered and fears they won't find Owen alive, but they still want to bring him home to his family.

They've been searching for Owen since May 16 -- the day Owen and Selena went missing.

Selena's boyfriend, Alberto Reyes, is accused of tampering with evidence in the case after deputies say he confessed to hiding her body. Reyes hasn't told prosecutors how Selena died or where Owen might be.

The case is now going to a grand jury and more charges may be filed against Reyes depending on what the medical examiner says about how Selena was killed.

"I do believe that he is involved in the homicide of Selena," Sheriff Virts says. "I will be putting that case together and I will have to go by the facts and our interviews and what we find in regards to Owen."

Sheriff Virts is still waiting on the findings from the medical examiner, but Thursday he'll decide where this case goes next in a meeting with prosecutors, and Selena's family.

If anyone knows any information regarding the whereabouts of Owen they are being asked to call 911 immediately.
