Things could have been very different if it wasn't for Adulte's quick thinking.

An off-duty firefighter is being hailed a hero after saving an infant from drowning in Geneva.

According to Hydrant Hose Company No. 1's Facebook page, firefighter Joseph Adulte saw the baby girl sink to the bottom of a pool in the city of Geneva last week.

Adulte sprang into action, jumping in and pulling the little girl out -- saving her life.

The Facebook post didn't report exactly when or where this happen, but it did state things could have been very different if it wasn't for Adulte's quick thinking.
