Organizers of Rochester's Pride Parade are reporting a rainbow record.
They say this year's parade brought out its biggest crowd of spectators yet.
The parade kicked off Saturday morning at Park Avenue and Alexander Street.
"It's a really great time, it is like everyone is so welcoming and it is just an accepting place to be yourself and not really feel like you have to hide who you are," Isabella, a pride attendee told Messenger Post's news partner, News10NBC.
At the same time, the Rochester Pride Festival kicked off Saturday at Cobb's Hill Park where again organizers are expecting record attendance.
