Clyde soldier retires after 27 years of service
Maj. Raymond Williams, of Clyde, recently retired from the New York Army National Guard after 27 years of military service.
Williams was assigned to the Headquarters and Support Company, 42nd Infantry Division. He first entered the military in September 1990.
“On behalf of our force, I want to wish only the greatest success for all future endeavors of our retirees as they embark on new chapters of their lives,” said Maj. Gen. Anthony German, the adjutant general for the state of New York.
