According to the Buffalo News, Bob Morgan, the president of Morgan Management, recently sold two Rochester-area offices along with four apartment complexes in Texas.

Herbert Morgan, Bob's brother, claims he was cut out of $4.8 million tied to the sale of the apartment complexes. Herbert Morgan is now suing his brother for that money.

Meanwhile, Bob Morgan's son and nephew are facing fraud charges. Federal prosecutors say Todd and Kevin Morgan lied about occupancy rates in properties to banks and altered leases.

Bob Morgan has not been accused of any wrongdoing in that case.

Morgan Communities is behind numerous area projects including three in Canandaigua: Pinnacle North Apartments at 20 North Shore Blvd; CenterPointe Apartments and Townhomes at 5570 Centerpointe Blvd; and The Links at CenterPointe Townhomes at 2227 Brickyard Road. In Monroe County, projects include the proposal for Parcel 5 at Midtown and Tower 280, along with the new apartments being built next to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que on Court Street and the housing projects near the George Eastman House and the Rochester Museum & Science Center.
