Parents will have to wait until at least mid-to-late September to see how their children did.

A technical review is delaying last spring's state test scores.

According to The Wall Street Journal, a state Education Department official says the delay stems from the decision to shorten English, language arts and math tests, for grades three through eight, from three days to two.

Educators are now reviewing the difficulty of the questions to determine performance levels, such as below expectations, proficient and excellent.
