A motorcycle driver has died from after suffering serious injuries Sunday night after an accident at the intersection of East Henrietta Road and Lehigh Station Road in Henrietta.
The police investigation determined that at around 6 p.m. as the driver of the car attempted to make the left-hand turn onto Lehigh Station Road the motorcycle struck the vehicle on the passenger side.
Witness reports say it appears the motorcyclist had been traveling at a high rate of speed.
The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver would succumb to his injuries at the hospital Sunday night.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital as a precaution.
Alcohol does not appear to be involved.
The investigation is ongoing and no criminal charges have been filed as of Sunday night.
