Kitty Karle, Silvio Palermo and Jackie Sisson Sherry log primary wins
Kitty Karle won Republican and Reform primaries for Ontario County Court Judge, wins that secure her seat as the next county court judge. Karle took 54 percent of the Republican primary vote in unofficial results, with opponent Russ Kenyon at 46 percent. On the Reform line, Karle took 64 percent, to 36 percent for Kenyon.
In the Republican primary for sheriff, Silvio Palermo took 54 percent of the vote, to 46 percent for opponent Bob Green. Palermo will face Democrat Kevin Henderson in November.
In the race for Canandaigua City Court Judge, Jackie Sisson Sherry swept six of seven primaries against opponent Meg Reston. On the Working Families line both candidates took 50 percent of the vote.
