A judge has officially dismissed a lawsuit against former NASCAR driver Tony Stewart for a deadly crash that happened at a racetrack in Canandaigua, according to ESPN.

Back in April, News 10NBC reported that Stewart and the parent's of Kevin Ward Jr. reached a settlement.

Ward was killed after Stewart struck him during a race at Canandaigua Motorsports Park, since renamed the Land of Legends, back in 2014.

The terms of the settlement are confidential.
