Portions of Route 63 in Geneseo will be closed "periodically" starting at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday as part of a search for fugitive David Clyde Morgan.

According to the New York State Police and other law enforcement agencies, the closures will affect Rt. 63 starting at the intersection of 20A to the Jones Street Bridge. About 60 officers from multiple agencies will be involved in the operation.

The search will take place where he is accused of pulling a gun on a Geneseo police officer on July 18. Morgan fled the scene and has not been seen since despite a large search. His girlfriend was taken into custody.
