A Rochester-based food manufacturer is recalling some of its products Thursday. Zweigle's Inc. is recalling roughly 6,082 pounds of ready-to-eat olive loaf pork products due to an excess amount of sodium nitrate.

A Rochester-based food manufacturer is recalling some of its products Thursday.

Zweigle's Inc. is recalling roughly 6,082 pounds of ready-to-eat olive loaf pork products due to an excess amount of sodium nitrate.

This is according to the U.S Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The pork items were produced form June 29, 2018 through Aug. 27, 2018.

As of now, there have been no reports adverse reactions, however, if you have any concerns you should contact your health care provider.
