The sheriff's office arrested a substitute teacher with the Rochester City School District.

Deputies say 43-year-old Michael Costa had inappropriate physical contact with a 14-year-old girl.

Costa is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment.

Investigators say the charges stem from an incident from August in the Town of Parma, but it did not involve a Rochester city school student.The school district placed Costa on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Anyone believed to be victimized by Costa is asked to call 911.
