Timothy Dean and his partner Charlene Childers of Texas were arrested Monday in what could be a break in the investigation into a double homicide in Sodus.
Our new partner, News10NBC has obtained new video showing the moment authorities stormed the home of a man now in custody in connection with a recent double murder in Sodus.
Timothy Dean and his partner Charlene Childers were arrested Monday in what could be a break in the investigation into a double homicide in Sodus.
Right now, Dean and Childers are only facing charges in Texas. Rangers there say they are working with our local deputies with a case in Wayne County.
The video comes from a neighbor in the small town of Sunray, Texas.
Just after midnight Monday, law enforcement picked up Dean, a former police chief. The 32-year-old is charged with injuring a child. He is being held behind bars on $1 million bond.
Childers, 25, was also booked Monday in Wayne County on a fugitive warrant. She's being held without bail.
Childers had been in a bitter custody fight with Josh Niles. Both Niles and Amber Washburn were shot and killed outside their Sodus home eight days ago.
The shooter hasn't been found.
Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts wouldn't elaborate on whether Dean and Childers may have anything to do with the Sodus investigation.
