Palmyra resident joins HR Works
Louise Holdridge, of Palmyra, recently joined HR Works Inc. in Fairport as an affirmative action data analyst.
Holdridge will use her knowledge in computer science, data analysis and research to support the firm’s Affirmative Action Department.
She recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University, where she double majored in computer science, and performance and communication arts.
United Way of Wayne County welcomes new board members
United Way of Wayne County recently elected three directors to serve on its board: Michael Feldstein Sr., senior human resource generalist, Advanced Atomization; Angelita Maldonado, bilingual program assistant for WIC; and Joe Nicastro, merchandising manager, Newark Wegmans.
These new board members are serving their first three-year term and two unexpired terms.
The United Way’s board features corporate and community leaders whose strategic decision-making and guidance furthers the organization’s mission.
Army National Guard promotes local soldiers
The New York Army National Guard recently promoted Desirie Carson, of North Rose, to the rank of private first class and Michael Zerniak, of Wolcott, to the rank of specialist.
Carson is assigned to the Company C (Medical), 427th Brigade Support Battalion. Zerniak serves with the 832nd Engineer Company.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability and development potential.
