The Animal Service League of Rochester will be hosting its second annual holiday open house

IRONDEQUOIT — The Animal Service League, a not-for-profit organization that matches adoptable cats, dogs and small pets with loving homes, will host its second annual holiday open house on Sunday, Dec. 9 from noon until 5 p.m. at 10 Dubelbeiss Lane in Irondequoit.

The event features opportunities to tour the shelter, meet the adoptable animals, complete adoption applications, and greet Animal Service League staff, volunteers, and board members.

When you adopt your next family member from the Animal Service League, you are bringing a health-checked, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered pet into your home.

Special guests include the Wildlife Educators Coalition and their unique exotics, PetSaver Healthy Pet Superstores and Doorbell Vet. Complimentary food and beverages will be available along with opportunities to win raffle prizes and purchase merchandise. And if a guest brings an item from the wish list, they will receive a raffle ticket towards a raffle basket of their choice.

The wish list items and adoptable animals are listed on the website site at www.animalserviceleagueny.org and on the Animal Service League Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AnimalServiceLeague. An online adoption application is available, which all adopters must complete in order to be considered.
