A virus targeting school-aged children has been spreading nationwide but has not been confirmed in Ontario County — and officials are taking steps to keep it at bay. Area school districts have posted information on their websites and many have also sent letters home to parents.Ontario County Public Health posted information about enterovirus EV-D68 on its website to educate and promote prevention.
