CANANDAIGUA — The Geneva man who stabbed two people outside Trotta's Castle Lounge on St. Patrick's Day in 2013 was sentenced to eight years behind bars on Wednesday in Ontario County Court.John McCoggle, 31, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault, a class B felony, and second-degree assault, a class D felony, for stabbing two men, including one who was transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after being stabbed in the chest and stomach.
