ONTARIO — Died on December 11, 2011 at age 87. Predeceased by her husband Edward. Survived by her children, Shirley (Doug) Montgomery, Gary (Sandy) Alborn, Nancy (Phil) McMullen; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; several nieces & nephews. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 4-7PM at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario where her Funeral Service will be held 10AM Thursday, followed by her Committal at Furnaceville Cemetery. Cromheecke, Betty J.
NEWARK — Betty J. Cromheecke, 86, of Rt. 31, Palmyra, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at Newark Manor.
Friends may call Thursday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home, 103 Maple Ct., Newark, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dan Benedict. Burial is in East Newark Cemetery.
Betty was born in Newark on Oct. 15, 1925, daughter of William and Reva Fitch Steinruck. She worked 19 years at Seneca Foods in Newark. Survived by her two sons, Richard of Palmyra, and Raymond Jr. of Shortsville; one grandson, Joe Cromheecke of Penn Yan; sister-in-law Dorothy Steinruck; sister, Barbara DeCook of Newark; brother, Morris Steinruck of Newark; nieces, nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond Sr., who died Dec. 21, 1985; brothers, Arnold, Clifford, and Floyd Steinruck, who died Nov. 12, 2011; sisters Ruth, Hazel, Rosetta, Shirley, and June.

Williamson/Marion — Entered into rest on Dec. 8, 2011 at the age of 49.  He is predeceased by his father Peter.  He is survived by his mother Dorothy of Marion, Brothers Matthew(Laurie)Herman of Marion, Joe(Tina) Herman of Marion and 1 sister Suzanne Murphy of Conn.  2 nephews David & Brian Murphy, niece Megan Zahn and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Service will be at the convenience of the family.  Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Anthony D. Maugiri Jr.
NEWARK — Anthony D. Maugiri Jr., 61, of Longview, formerly of Newark, N.Y., died Monday, December 12, 2011.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home, 103 Maple Court, in Newark, N.Y. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery, with military honors.
Anthony was born July 7, 1950, in Newark, N.Y. to Anthony Sr. and Margaret Logosh Maugiri. He was a former plant manager whose career began at American Can in Fairport, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol ≠Relyea Maugiri; two daughters, ≠Melissa (Ronald) Hamann of Gulfport, Miss., and ≠Nicole (David) Hodge of England; two grandchildren, Dawson Brown and Colin Hodge; four stepgrandchildren, Cody, Emily, Kaylie and Nick Hamann; brother, Donald ≠(Eleanor) Maugiri of Newark, N.Y.; and nieces and ≠nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Bunce and Diane Maugiri.

MACEDON — Born on Sept. 6, 1934. Died on Dec. 10, 2011 at home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Pamela, daughter Cheryl Crabtree, Zephyr Hills, FL; son Jeffery of Macedon; daughter Renee Hilton of Canandaigua; son Timothy (Louise) of McMinnville, TN; daughter Jennifer (John) Simon of Victor; son Paul Kingsley of Victor; several grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Maletta, John
ONTARIO — Past away suddenly on Dec. 10, 2011 at age 68 in Raleigh, NC. Predeceased by his wife Carol & parents Frank & Mary Maletta. Survived by sons, John, Jr., & Mark Maletta; sister Cora Stavalone; brothers Sam (Cecilia) Maletta , Joe (Cathy) Maletta; nephews Tony (Lori), John (Carol) Stavalone, Rob, Joseph, Frank Maletta; nieces Jeanna Marie, Elizabeth Maletta. John grew up in Ontario, NY, attended Wayne Central HS (’61), served in the Army. He moved to Palmyra, NY with his wife Carol & raised 2 sons there. He was the owner of Wayne County Food & Beverage, & Macedon Food & Beverage. Later moved to North Carolina with son Mark & started the construction business J&M Enterprise. He enjoyed coming back to the area to visit family & friends. His voice & laugh could fill the room. He enjoyed watching old western style movies, anything John Wayne or Clint Eastwood were his favorites. He also was a car enthusiast as he owned & collected many over the years. Friends are invited to call Saturday, 10AM-12Noon at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario. Interment Palmyra Cemetery. Mitchell, Joe
ONTARIO — Died on December 1, 2011 at age 74. Predeceased by his daughter Julie. Survived by his children, Joiann M. Kinley, John Kinley, Dawn Passero (Mark Cavallaro), Valerie (Rick) Mastrodonato, Jenny Himes, William Mitchell; 11 grandchildren, Shannon (David) Gushue, Mitch Wissick (Katie Phillips), Cherish Mastrodonato (Taylor Harp), Joseph Mastrodonato, Jared Kinley, Jewel Mastrodonato, Peter Mastrodonato, Ricky Mastrodonato, Samantha Kinley; 4 great grandchildren; sister Madeline Harris; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Joe was loved by all & will be greatly missed. He was a car dealer for over 50 years. He lived every second of his life to the fullest! Survived by his wife Janet; daughters, Valerie (Bill) Drexler, Jill (Keith) Kramer, Cheryl (Mark) Kramer; grandson-in-law Andrew Dippel; grandchildren, Jenelle, Joshua, Christine; great grandchildren, Graham, Raegan Dippel; sister Joyce Pugsley; sisters & brothers-in-law; several nieces & nephews. He was Past Chief & former member of the Lincoln Fire Dept for 35 years, Korean War Veteran & was retired from Mobil Chemical after 30 years. Talbo, Thomas J.
NEWARK - Thomas J. Talbo, 61, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Mr. Talbo was born on Oct. 6, 1950 in Lyons, the son of the late John R. and Eloise Bailey Talbo. A 1968 graduate of Newark High School, he then went on to earn a degree in Aviation Engineering from Western Michigan University in 1973.
Tom was a quality control technician for over 33 years at Kodak, retiring in 2005.
He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Newark. Tom was a "jack of all trades" kind of guy who built his own home. He also was active in supporting clean energy. A friendly and witty person, he was loved by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years Mary (nee Cuffney); his siblings Jack (Lynn) of Fairville, Carol (Kenneth) Wise of Palmyra, and Russell (Jan) of Lyons; several nieces and nephews.

Angeline T. Venuti
Newark/Webster — Angeline T. Venuti, 92, died Thursday (December 15, 2011) at St. Ann’s Home in Rochester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday (December 19th) at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark with Father Felix Dalimpuo officiating.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
Memorials, in her memory, may be made to St. Ann’s Foundation, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, New York 14621.
Mrs. Venuti was born on September 5, 1919 in Newark, the daughter of the late Frank and Angeline Critelli Zappia.  She was a life-long member of St. Michael’s Church.  Angie and her husband owned and operated PeeWee’s Lunch on East Union Street in Newark for many years, retiring in 1976.   
She is survived by two daughters Carol Ann and Mary Jane Venuti both of Webster; two granddaughters Katherine Mc Aplin and Jaclyn Di Paola; two great grandchildren Ava and Jack; several nieces and nephews.
Angie was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1982, her siblings Margaret Filippello, Catherine Colacino, Joseph Zappia, John Zappia, Anthony Zappia, and Mary Decker.

Young, Albert E.
PALMYRA — Young, Albert E., 92, passed away Wednesday, December. 14, 2011 at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. In keeping with Albert’s wishes there will be no calling hours or service. Albert’s wife, Mary, request memorial contributions be directed to the Newark Wayne Hospital, 1200 Driving Park Ave., Newark, NY 14513.
      Albert was born on May 16, 1919 in Walworth, NY the son of the late, Jacob and Mary Rush Young.  He served our country in the US Army from 1942 to 1946.  After the service he worked as a welder for the Rail Road at the East Rochester Car Shop, retiring in 1967.
      He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Crossman Young; his daughters, Patricia Marks, Jean Callahan and Beth (David) McCloskey; a son, George (Wendy) Young; sister Jessie (Dick) Ruebens; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 Albert is preceded in death by his daughter Terry Kwolek; a granddaughter, Lorraine McCloskey; his brothers, Herman and Ernest Young; his sisters, Ruth Hall and Alice Swan.
