Sonja J. (nee Cook) (Morganti) Blair
East Palmyra—Sonn entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday December 21, 2011 at Clifton Springs Hospital.
Sonn’s memorial farewell gathering is to be held at the East Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department in the spring.   A date and time is yet to be determined.

Sonja was born September 6, 1942 in Hornell, the daughter of Paul and Barbara Symonds Cook.  She graduated from Newark High School, class of 1961 and the Finger Lakes Community College. In 2004, Sonja retired from (Mobil/Tenneco) Pactiv.  She was involved with the Wayne Country Dental Association, the Midlakes Eagle Football Boosters, The BOD of the Monday Night Duffers and was an elder at the East Palmyra Presbyterian Church.  Sonn was also an ombudsman for Wayne County Department of Aging and Youth, serving the DeMay Nursing Home.  She was also a strong supporter in the Care Giver Support Group. Sonn loved to play bridge, golf and enjoyed flower gardens, swimming and travel.
She is survived by her daughter Kim A. Morganti of Rushville, sons Mark J. (Sharon) Morganti of Seattle, Jan M. (Julie Herendeen) Morganti of Gorham; step-children: Patricia A. (Jerry) Busby of Rushville, Deborah J (Valden) Weltzel of Middlesex, Mary (Roger) Soucie of Middlesex, Robert L. (Pamela) Blair of Clifton Springs, Michael (Karen Ressue) Blair of Phelps, and Augustus “Gus” (Tanja) Blair of Germany; grandchildren Giovanni and Vincent Morganti, Joseph Furdock, Krystal and Kara West, Terry Busby, Jessie Riddle, Emma Weltzel, Justin (Tracy) and Kevin (Kris) Blair, Patrick Blair and special grandchildren Jessica and Peggy Sue Soucie; great grandchildren: Austin, Megan, Skylar, Jayden, Jim and Logan;. a sister Marilyn Fletcher of Lyons; aunts: Beverly Symonds of Corning, Irena Lawson of Gang Mills, Bernice Cook of Painted Post and several cousin; a Godson Rodney Charles Fowler and caring nephew Christopher Fowler; several Blair nieces and nephews and three Morganti nieces (Michelle, Lisa and Terry); significant other George Craig and special people: Sharon Hogan, Mike Sweet, Bob DeLooze and John Bolser.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Robert L. Blair, Sr., grandson Eric Weltzel, son-in-law Terry Busby, and first husband John J. Morganti.

Charlotte A. “Charlie” Farnsworth
Port Gibson/Manchester---Charlotte Ann Ziegler Farnsworth, 72, died Thursday (December 22, 2011) at her home.
A funeral service will be at 2 P.M. on Monday (December 26th) at the Port Gibson United Methodist Church with Rev. Patricia Page officiating.  Burial will be in Port Gibson Cemetery.
Memorials, in her memory, may be made to Port Gibson United Methodist Church or the Ontario-Yates Hospice.
Mrs. Farnsworth was born on March 2, 1939 in Lyons, the daughter of Owen and Mildred Robinson Ziegler.  She was a 1957 graduate of Palmyra High School.  A bookkeeper for Wayne Drug Company for many years, Charlie retired from Newark-Wayne Community Hospital where she worked in medical records.  She was a member of the Port Gibson United Methodist Church and the Palmyra Memorial Post 678, VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Charlie is survived by her husband of 49 years Wilson “Willie” Farnsworth; son Lawrence of Clifton Springs; two grandchildren Alex Farnsworth and Natalie Genrich; a great granddaughter Paige Lily Farnsworth; many other family members, friends and  former daughter-in-law Peggy Farnsworth.  She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Reginald O. Ziegler in 1989.

Pringle, Barbara J.
DUNDEE/PALMYRA: Died on Wed. Dec. 28, 2011 at the age of 78. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be directed to Habitat for Humanity, 1160 Macedon Center Rd., Macedon, NY 14502. Barbara was born on June 30, 1933 in Watertown, NY to Earl and Mary Miller Tanner. She was married to C. Robert Pringle on May, 26, 1950 in Watertown. She had volunteered for Habitat for Humanity both locally and in Florida. Barb was predeceased by her husband Bob Pringle; sister Emma Davis and brothers Earl, Jim, Edwin, Don and Tom Tanner. She is survived by her children Earl (Sheryll) Pringle , Robert (Susan) Pringle, Linda (Larry) Priest, Mary Jo (Doug) Nichol and Cindy (Nelson) Ameele; brother Ralph Tanner; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
