NEWARK — Bobby Lee Boyd, went home to the open arms of his Savior on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 with his loving family by his side at Rochester General Hospital at the age of 55.
Family and friends called Friday, Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc. at 124 W. Miller St. in Newark. A Funeral Service was held Saturday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial followed in East Newark Cemetery.

Bobby was born the son of Earnest Boyd and Barb Brimm Boyd on Wednesday, May 16, 1956 in Bluefield, W. Va. He graduated from Newark High School in 1974. After graduation he served in the Air Force for three years. The funeral home proudly flies the Air Force flag in honor of Bobby’s service to our country.
For many years Bobby drove school bus for the Ganada School District. He had a special love for working with youth and served as leader for the church youth group. Bobby had a large collection of Teddy Bears with over 280 in his collection. He helped with the lights and sound at church and was known for his ability to fix electrical products. Bobby was just weeks of seeing his first book published entitled “The Land of Dreams, Adventures with Herman & Sleepy”. He was well known for always putting others ahead of himself.
Bobby will be remembered by his loving wife Sharon Parkison Boyd; mother Barb (Richard) Boyd of Newark; father Earnest (Carol) Boyd of FL; brother Kenneth (Donna Lee) Boyd; sisters Deb Feiock, Lori (Bob) Ellsworth and Lisa (Mike) DeCook; father and mother-in-law the Rev. NEWARK — Closing the page of the last chapter of her life, Janis Marilyn Bronson, Nov. 27, 1943-Sept. 25, 2011, passed gently into eternal peace in the loving arms of family.
Janis is predeceased by her father David J. Bronson of West Stockholm, N.Y.; mother Aileen R. Nichols Bronson of Ontario, and nephew Matthew D. Bronson of Brasher Falls, N.Y.
Janis will be deeply missed by her brothers, David E. Bronson (Sally) of Brasher Falls and William K. Bronson (Betsy) of Hilton Head N.C. Sisters, Judith A. Bronson (Dennis Taillie) of Ontario, and Cynthia J. Bronson of West Stockholm; as well as brothers Charles L. Bronson of Garland, Texas and Christopher M. Bronson (Janice) of Franklinville, N.Y. She will be greatly missed by niece Claire J. Bronson of Atlanta, Ga. and nephews Adam P. Bronson of Williamson, Michael A. Bronson of Brasher Falls, James E. Bronson and David C. Bronson of Garland.

Countless aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends will remember Janis for the wonderful gifts and greeting cards that never failed to arrive to mark every event and occasion.
Janis touched the lives of so many with her quiet smile, generosity and willing participation and church and community events. She was a beloved patron of the library. Janis will be missed by the staff at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, where she received tender and loving care and had become beloved family to so many.
Friends and family gathered for a memorial service at the United Methodist Church of Newark at 301 Main St. at noon, Sunday, Oct. 2. A graveside service was held the following day, Oct. 3, at North Watertown Cemetery at 811 Bradley St. in Watertown.
The family requests that Janis’ memory be honored by donations to the Newark Public Library, 121 High St., Newark NY 14513.

DiBaiso, Raymond J. “Tippy”
NEWARK — Died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at Rochester General Hospital at the age of 82.
No prior calling, a Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church in Newark. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery in Clyde. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Michael’s Church, Newark.
Tippy was born in Lyons, Dec. 8, 1928, the son of Raymond and Marion Angello DiBiaso Sr. He was a proud graduate of St. Johns School in Clyde. He served his country in the Army between World War II and Korea. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 947 in Clyde. He worked on the railroad before coming a union laborer for 17 years. He was a union mason for 44 years. He was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers. Over the years you would see Tippy supervising jobs all over the Newark area. He will be sadly missed by his early-morning church friends and his friends at OTB and Save-A-Lot. He was an active member of St. Michael’s Church.
Survived by his son, David (Susan) of Newark; grandson, Bryan and his family; longtime companion, Leona Johnson and family; his niece Joni; sister Pat Cowles; many other nieces, nephews an cousins. Predeceased by his wife Carol in 1983; mother, father and sister Jackie.

Klaeysen, Irene Ellen (O’Keefe)
PALMYRA — Died on Sept. 22, 2011.
Born May 22, 1920 in Palmyra, the oldest child of Mary McGuire and J. Thomas O’Keefe. She was predeceased by three siblings, Marie Pelletier and Betty Vienna of Palmyra, and the Rev. Thomas O’Keefe. Irene graduated from Palmyra Classical High School in 1938 with a degree in business. She married William Klaeysen in 1947 and was employed as a secretary in the law department of Garlock Corporation until her retirement in 1982. She volunteered with Kings Daughters and St. Anne’s Church, where she was a lifelong communicant. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Anne (Glenn Newman) of Brooklyn, Helen (John O’Grady) and John (Theresa Ritrovato) of Albany, Paul of Chicago; four grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Newman, Christopher and Ryan Klaeysen; many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Connie, Debbie and April for their care of Irene and their kindness to the family.
Friends called from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 at McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home at 123 E. Jackson St. in Palmyra. Her Funeral Mass was held 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 26 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Anne’s Church in Palmyra, followed by her Committal Service at St. Anne’s Cemetery. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Geoege Lonis. Survived by her loving sons, Warren Lonis, Edward Lonis, Robert (Lynda) Lonis and Thomas Lonis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Clarence (Olivia) Knapp.

LYONS — Patricia Ann Petitti Marsa, 73, of Grist Mill Dr., died Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Clifton Springs Hospital. Friends called Friday, Sept. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home at 77 William St. in Lyons. A Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church in Lyons. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials to St. Michael's Church Lyons or to Wayne County Humane Society, County House Rd., Lyons.
Pat was born in Lyons Sept. 8, 1938, daughter of Ignacio and Angelina Petitti. She worked for Empire Crafts, CH. Stuart for six years and for Finger Lakes DDSO as a secretary for 26 years. She was a graduate of Lyons High School class of 1956. She was a member of St. Michael's Church in Lyons where she served on the parish council and was on the church renovation committee, she was a lector and Eucharistic minister for St. Michael's.
Survived by her husband for 39 years, James, daughter, Shannon (Michael) Howitt of Cortland. Special nieces and nephews; Joni, John, Diane, Tim, and Butch. Special friends; Nancy (Anthony) DeLork, Linda Busco, Erma Yonker, Gretel and Ed Duffy, Wendy DeLork, Vicki and Mark, Diane Wykle, Linda Tuffy, Sheila Engles many other relatives and friends.

CLYDE — Died Tuesday (September 27, 2011) at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons following an extended illness at the age of 80.
At his request there will be no prior calling hours and funeral services will be private. Burial will take place at the Butler-Savannah Cemetery.

Ken was born in Bombay, N.Y. on Nov. 7, 1930, the son of the late John and Delvina Martin Murray. Mr. Murray had formerly been employed by the Clyde-
Savannah School District.
Surviving are his son, Kenneth P. Murray Jr. of Savannah; his daughter Melissa (Fernando) Oquargo of Seymour, Conn.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brothers Ralph Murray of Ontario and Roy Murray of Savannah; his sisters Ruth (Robert) Roedts of Lyons; Ruby Washburn of Savannah and Florence (David) VanFleet Tofhjian of Lyons. Voelckers, Mark William
MACEDON — Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Sept. 26. He was 60 years old.
Mark’s passing was preceded by his father’s, William, in 2009. He is survived by his mother Barbara, sisters Ellen, Anne, Gwenn, his loving wife Cathy, their eight children, and 13 grandchildren. His children include Jacob and wife Robyn (and children Nicolas, Carly, Annelise, and Isaac), Adam and wife Dorothy (and son Oliver), Erica and husband Ben (and sons Grant, Peter, and Nathan), April and husband Jason (and children Jack, Kaitlyn, and Julia), Gretchen and husband Brady (and daughters Lucy and Ruby), Evan, Marc, and Rebecca.
Mark had a remarkable and Ernest exuberance for life, learning, and teaching. He pursued his dreams throughout all his days. From a beloved hobby, he created his successful company, British Auto, and enjoyed numerous other interests such as camping, self-reliance, woodworking, music, cooking, and photography. A devoted husband and wonderful father, he regarded the love of his family as the most important thing in his life. He was also committed to his faith and serving others as a member of the Palmyra Ward. He will be forever missed and always remembered with love.
Friends and family were invited to a funeral service in his memory at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 2801 Temple Road, Palmyra on Saturday, Oct. 1. Calling hours began at 8 a.m. and the service followed at 9 a.m.
