Camp, Norma (Williams)
PALMYRA/MARION/WILLIAMSON — Died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2012 at the age of 84.
Survived by children, Penny (Gary) Jock of Williamson, Allan (Jenny) Camp of Phoenix, Ariz., and Paul Camp (Peter Goldman) of Burbank, Ca.; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Adams) Weller, Bristol, Daniel Jock (fiancee, Sarah Rappa) of Newmarket, N.H., and Jennifer Camp of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Virginia (Ralph) Darrow of Macedon/Fairport; and many loyal nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Frank Camp.
Norma was a former volunteer at the Wayne County Nursing Home, Fairport Baptist Home, and the Newark-Wayne Hospital Twig Shop. She was well known for her decorated cakes and flower gardens.
A special thank you to the staff of Highland Hospital -ICU and West 4 for their loving care and support.
A service in celebration of Norma's life was held Monday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Palmyra United Methodist Church, 109 Church St., Palmyra. Immediately following the service the family will greet friends at a luncheon in the church. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Pultneyville.
In lieu of flowers, Norma requested donations to either Towpath Manor Activity Fund, Attention: Shirley Wentz, 200 Canal St., Palmyra, NY 14522 or the Palmyra United Methodist Church.

Devlin, David Martin
PALMYRA — Died on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at the age of 71.  
Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Iva Devlin; siblings, Joan, Robert Jr., Arnold, Bernard, Virginia, Alice and Eugene. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Helen; son, Martin; daughter, Suzanne (Jason) Haak; grandsons, Clayton and Holden Haak; brother, James (Sue) Devlin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends visited on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 from 2 until 5 p.m. at the McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522. A service of remembrance followed at 5 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Jude Tribute Program (St. Jude Children's Hospital), P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

Forlie, Dorothy E.
CLYDE — Mrs. Dorothy E. Forlie, 86, formerly of 52 Reese St., died on Friday evening, Nov. 30, 2012 at the Wayne County Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Family and friends were invited to call on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St., Clyde. Her funeral Mass followed at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist RC Church with the Rev. Augustine Chumo, Pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Parish officiating. Burial will take place in the Cemetery of the Holy Cross, Brooklyn, on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 2:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions to the Flood Relief Fund at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 7396 Amboy Road, Tottenville, NY 10307, would be appreciated.
Mrs. Forlie was born In Brooklyn on Feb. 28, 1926, the daughter of the late James and Alice Hayes White. She had lived most her life in the Brooklyn-Staten Island area of NYC. A few years ago, she moved to Queensbury, NY to be with her son. She was a member of the Pioneer Group of NY Telephone Co., and a volunteer at the Totenville Thrift Shop and the RSVP Group at the Spring Hill Hospital in Florida.
Surviving are her children, Dorothy (Roy) Romer of Clyde, Dennis (Joellen) Forlie of Alpharetta, Ga. and Robert (Susan) Forlie of Queensbury, NY; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her six sisters and two brothers.
The family has entrusted all funeral arrangements to the Baris Funeral Home of Clyde.

Knapp, Kenneth R., Sr.
MACEDON — Peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at the age of 76.  
Predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Esther Knapp; sister, Carol Sinack. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy; children, Kenneth Knapp Jr., Karen ( Harry) Keller, Diane Musgrave, Eileen (Mike) Burdick, Kevin (Dawn) Knapp, Cindy (Dave) Hook; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Daniel) Banach; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was a Xerox retiree where he had worked as a forklift operator for 33 years. He enjoyed his years with Xerox. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Highland Hospital for their wonderful care.
Friends and family were invited to gather on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at the All Seasons Chapel, located at White Haven Memorial Park, Marsh Road, Pittsford, between 11a.m. and 1 p.m. A memorial service was offered at 1 p.m. with inurnment following.
Memorials in memory of Kenneth may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Lollypop Farm.

LaForty, James A.
ONTARIO — Went into the hands of our lord on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer.  
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; his loving children, Brenda (Tom) Welker, James (Tanya) LaForty, Karen (Kevin Shea) Mohr and Patricia (Todd) Anderson. Jim loved and took great pride in his grandchildren, Josh, Brenna, Hannah, Felecia, Lucas, Bill, Amanda, Justin, Jacob, Chrisopher and Brittney. Also surviving Jim are a brother, Charles (Anita) Seager; a sister, Barb (Arnold) Kaeserman; brother-in-law, Tom (Joanne) Schoen; sister-in-law, Jean Rogers; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Jim and Kathy are blessed with a loving family and wonderful friends who have enabled Jim's journey with dignity and love.
Jim had an infectious sense of humor and a zest for life. He leaves us with a smile on our face and a rainbow in our heart.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain".  
A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the Living Word Assembly of God Church, 2344 Ridge Road, Ontario, New York at 4 p.m.

Porter, Isaac
CANANDAIGUA — Isaac Porter, 82 entered eternity on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at FF Thompson Hospital.
Family and friends may call Wednesday,Dec. 5 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. A funeral service will follow calling at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in York Settlement Cemetery, Huron.

Isaac was born the son of the late Isaac and Mary Porter on October 30, 1930 in Sodus, NY. He enjoyed fishing and listening to his police scanner.

Spadafore, Josephine R.
NEWARK - Josephine R. Spadafore, 96, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.
Friends called from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St., Newark. A Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated by Father Felix Dalimpuo on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
Memorials in her name, may be made to St. Michael's Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513.
Mrs. Spadafore was born April 19, 1916, in Newark, the daughter of Anthony and Mildred Ruffalo Moyer (Muoio). She was a life-resident of Newark and a communicant of St. Michael's Church. She had been an attendant at the Newark Development Center, retiring in 1975. Josephine was a member of the Top of the Hill Retirees of NDC and the Newark Council of Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Last winter, Mrs. Spadafore was honored at the 100th year of celebration of Lincoln School being the oldest living graduate, she also graduated from Newark High School. Josephine enjoyed reading, playing bingo and her occasional trips to the casinos.
She is survived by a niece, Darlene (David) Abeln of Newark; a great-niece and nephew, two great-great-nephews; her care-giving cousins, Anne and Frank Bullock of Newark and several other cousins.
Josie was predeceased by her parents, husband, Joseph; and sister, Louise Salerno.
