Gary was born on June 7, 1957 in Clifton Springs, the son of Alan and Janette Goodman Lush. He and the former Melissa Hicks were married on September 24, 1988 in Macedon. Gary was employed as a
machinist at Jar-Lon. He was a member of the James R. Hickey Squad 120 Sons of the American Legion and was an avid music and animal lover.
Gary was predeceased by his father Alan Lush and sister Roberta Jean Lush. He is survived by his wife Melissa; son Damian Lush; mother Janette Hotel; brother Steven (Kerry) Lush and Terry (Yvonne)
Lush; mother-in-law and father-in-law Joseph and Jean Buttaccio; sister-in-law Melanie (Rick) Sizemore; and many nieces and nephews.
