Christine M. Jansen
Lyons – Christine M. Jansen 85, entered eternity on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Newark Manor Nursing Home.
Fulfilling Mrs. Jansen’s wishes all services will be private. Burial in Fairville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In memory of Mrs. Jansen please consider donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd, Rochester, 14620.
Mrs. Jansen was born the daughter of the late John and Mary (Cuveliek) Wisse on Saturday, June 18, 1927 in Williamson, NY. She graduated from Marion High School in 1945. For many years she worked at the Newark Schools as a Nurses Aid. Mrs. Jansen was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Newark. Some of Mrs. Jansen’s interest were camping, reading and helping the Cub Scots with different assignments.
Mrs. Jansen will be remembered by her loving husband of 65 years, Clifford Jansen; sons Randy (Stacey) Jansen of Seneca Falls and Rick (Sallie) Jansen of TN; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters Phyllis (Jack) Lewis of Marion and June Middlebrook of Canandaigua; several nieces.

Ralph A. Vanderlinde
Newark – on Jan. 11, 2013 at age 88 at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
Calling hours were held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E.Miller St. Newark. The funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Fairville Cemetery. Memorials, in his name, may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Mr. Vanderlinde was born in Sodus on November 3, 1924, the son of the late Isaac and Lena Vanderlinde. After retiring as Sgt from the Newark Police Department, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Art Graf, Inc. Ralph was an avid sportsman and member of the N.R.A.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty; daughters Barbara (William) Smith of Seneca Falls, Kathy (Daniel) Kaiser of Bloomfield, Sharon Vanderlinde of Newark; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brothers Isaac (Margaret) of Lockport and Martin “Toby” Vanderlinde of Sodus.Ralph was predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Mary Klopchin White
ROCHESTER - White, Mary Klopchin; 59, January 12, 2013; predeceased by her father Raymond Klopchin. Survived by her mother Helen Klopchin; daughters Wendy and Amy; siblings Raymond, Lynn, Robert, Ryan, Nancy, Helen, Janet and Gary Klopchin; 5 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Loved by her brothers and sisters and many more, Mary was a published author of several books such as Tales of a Halfshell in which she expressed her fondness of the supernatural, BINGO.

Thelma C. Wrench
Newark – Thelma Cook Wrench, 91 entered eternity on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Fulfilling Mrs. Wrench’s wishing there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends attended a Memorial Service on Friday  January 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church Chapel in Newark followed by a small luncheon. Burial followed in Newark Cemetery, N. Main St.

Mrs. Wrench was born the daughter of the late Dennis and Marie (VanDeviver) Cook on Saturday, July 30, 1921 in Palmyra, N.Y. She was a full time homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. Mrs. Wrench was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church in Newark and also a member of the once Eastern Star “Amitie” Chapter 473. She loved to spend time with children, read and work on crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Wrench will be remembered by her son Albert “Lynn” Wrench Jr. of Newark; daughter Karen Strickland of AZ.; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver Mary Young of Newark.
Mrs. Wrench was predeceased by her loving husband Albert J. Wrench Sr. on January 6, 2001 and her brother Harold Cook.
