Squires, George William, 63, of North Rose, entered eternity on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at his sister’s home following a brief battle with cancer.

Fulfilling Will’s wishes all services will be private. In memory of Will, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society. Will was born the son of the late Stanley L. Sr. and Elsa (Timer) Squires on Tuesday, November 15, 1949 in Margaretville, N.Y. He graduated from Margaretville Central School and then received a bachelor's degree from Regis College. Moving to Arizona many years ago, he worked for Accurate Corp. in Peoria, Ariz. as a computer programmer.

The funeral home proudly flies the Navy Flag in honor of his service during the Vietnam War.

Will was a member of the National Ski Patrol. He enjoyed skiing, camping, mountain biking, golfing and traveling.

He will be remembered by his loving sister Sandra Tether and her friend Jim Wolcott, of North Rose; brothers George “Chan” and John (Melanie) Squires, both of Margaretville, N.Y; special friend Colleen Rogan of Virginia; many nieces and nephews.

Will was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Stanley L. Jr. and Edna Squires.
