PALMYRA — Heather Lyn Bills, 29, of Palmyra, entered into Heaven on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 after a courageous and challenging 10-year battle with cancer.

Heather was born Nov. 18, 1982, daughter of Arthur and Lori Bills. Heather was a 2001 graduate of Pal-Mac and after several years of treatment, continued her education at FLCC where she graduated High Honor Phi Theta Kappa in 2009.

Heather was a very generous, loving, giving and inspiring person and unknowingly touched many lives. She greatly appreciated the support of the Palmyra community. Heather’s sense of humor and faith in God carried her through her long and sometimes difficult journey.

She is survived by her parents; sister, Darcie Bills; half-sisters, Kimberly Fanning, Kelly Bills; special aunt, Colleen; and cousin, Corin. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones; faithful companions, Oliver, Chester and Stewie.

Predeceased by paternal grandparents, Arthur Sr. and Shirley Bills ;and maternal grandparents, Hugh and Jeanne Williams; and half-sister, Melanie Bills.

A memorial service will be held at the Palmyra First Baptist Church, 100 W. Main St., Palmyra, on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. There will be no prior calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LLS “Team in Training”, 1311 Mamaraneck Ave., Ste. 310, White Plains, NY 10605.
