Once again an Irondequoit Town Board has stood in the way of progress and improvement for the town. The latest example is the continuing saga of I-Square.
This board, like others before it, has found reasons for not making a decision. We’ve seen the same procrastination and lack of vision regarding the senior center and libraries. Meanwhile the board continues to be conned by the Medley Center owners who were given a big tax break and so far have done nothing with the property.
Telling someone you’re from Irondequoit shouldn’t evoke a laugh like it was a joke. Unfortunately, the circus clowns running the town have made it that way.
