As I get older, I am sometimes surprised at what current personal finance issues younger people know and don’t know about. It must be that generational thing.That being said, one recent issue got absolutely everyone’s attention, including young couples. The government report that indicated that the average cost of raising a child born in 2013 through age 17 for a middle-income, two-parent family is $245,340.
