The Wayne County Democratic Party will host its annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner beginning at 6 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Blue Heron Country Club, 1 Country Club Drive in Macedon.
"The Jefferson-Jackson Dinner is a chance for hard-working Democratic volunteers to celebrate the work they've done supporting candidates in local races this November," said Ed OShea, Chair of the Wayne County Democratic Party, in a media release on Oct. 21.
"It's also a chance to look to the challenging year ahead as we work to elect a representative to Congress for the 25th CD who will truly represent all the citizens of that district — and to get President Obama re-elected so that he can continue the work of putting our economy back on track," OShea added.
The guest speaker for the event will be Brian Stratton, Director of the New York State Canal Corporation. Dan Maffei who has announced his candidacy for the 25th Congressional District will be the special guest.
