Elected to fill one of three open seats on the board of education for three-year terms were newcomer Beth Grier-Leva with 620 votes, incumbent Tim Ludwig with 582 and newcomer Don Miller Jr. with 543.

Garnering 466 votes was incumbent Heather Harvey; incumbent Elaine Hartnagel had 449 and newcomer Renee Snyder Herrmann tallied 402.

Passed 724 yes to 424 no was the $33,580,953 school budget, which reflects an increase of .75 percent over the current spending plan.

Tax levy is $15,974,452, up 2.74 percent.

Tax rate is $24 per $1,000, unchanged from last year.

Anticipated state aid is $14,370,000.

Voters chose not to approve the purchase of approximately 59.85 acres at Yellow Mills and Creek roads in Macedon at a cost of $1,750 per acre, 671 no to 472 yes.
