Elected to serve one of two open seats on the Board of Education for three-year terms were newcomers Michael Cramer with 582 votes and Robert Estochen with 581. Defeated were incumbents Kim Tennity, who garnered 270 votes, and Karen Goebert-Keys with 250.

The $17,950,425 school budget, which reflects a 0.17 percent decrease, passed 521 to 339.

Tax levy is $5,658,130, an increase of 3 percent.

Tax rate is $21.57 per $1,000.

Anticipated state aid is $9,273,970.

Voters authorized, 452 to 389, the purchase eight school busses, with an amount not to exceed $486,091.17, and permission to expend up to $367,594.17 from reserves.

Passing 504 to 333 was the creation of a new school bus capital reserve fund.
