Investigation into personal injury crash results in DWI, other citations

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office concluded its investigation into a personal injury crash, leading to a charge of driving while intoxicated and multiple other citations for a Rochester man.

Steven Coon, 33, of the 100 block of Vista Drive, was arrested by deputies Monday evening, Jan. 30. He was charged with DWI, aggravated operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of 0.18 or higher, driving an uninspected motor vehicle, driving with an open container and speed not reasonable or prudent. He was released on a notice to appear.

According to a report, the charges stem from a Nov. 27 incident in which Coon crashed his vehicle at Maple Avenue and state Route 104, in Sodus.
