A Sodus woman has been charged after an incident in which she allegedly called and harassed another woman, violating an existing order of protection.
Kathleen Brewer, 46, of the 6000 block of Barclay Road, was charged with one count of first-degree criminal contempt and one count of aggravated harassment following the Feb. 13 incident.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, the charges stem from an incident in which Brewer allegedly called another woman at her residence and harassed her. According to authorities, that contact violated a temporary restraining order that was active against Brewer.
Brewer was being held in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
