The driver of the vehicle was ticketed, according to Ontario County sheriff's deputies.

A Palmyra woman was injured after the vehicle she was riding in flipped over and landed in a Manchester front yard on Feb. 17.

Penny S. Rich, 27, of 163 Salzburg Village, was taken to Newark Hospital with what Ontario County sheriff’s deputies said were minor arm injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, Justin L. Wheaton, 20, of 2667 Thompson Road, Clifton Springs, failed to navigate a sharp turn on Field Street because he was allegedly traveling at an unsafe speed, deputies said.

His vehicle then struck a large rock and flipped over, deputies said.

Wheaton was ticketed for driving at an unsafe speed, deputies said.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
