Tastings Club to start at library
A new club, centered around food, is starting at the Lyons Public Library this month.
Called the "Tastings Club" a different type of dish will be featured each month. This month, Favorite Hot Soups are being featured on Monday, Jan. 28 at noon in the Community Room. This club is open to all those who enjoy cooking and exploring different foods. Those participating in the club must be bring their favorite soup to be shared as well as a copy of the recipe.
Please bring it in a crock pot if at all possible, since we only have a regular size stove to keep items nice and hot. Also, please bring a ladle as well and make sure everything is labeled. Table service will be provided by the library.
While the group is tasting the different soups and discussing each ones merits, the next date, time, and dish to be featured will be decided.
