    NEWARK — Chad Edward Bagshaw, 34 one day shy of his 35th birthday, entered eternity on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Clifton Springs Hospital after a life long illness.     
    Chad was born the son of Thomas Bagshaw and Sandra (Aikey) Hares on Friday, Sept. 23, 1977 in Clifton Springs. Chad had attended Newark Schools until he could no longer attend due to illness. He loved cars of all kinds, especially the VW Beetle. He enjoyed being around animals, dogs and the Vikings Football team.
    Chad will be remembered by his mother, Sandra (Kevin) Hares of Newark; father, Thomas (Ann) Bagshaw of Clifton Springs; brother, Thomas (Melanie) Bagshaw of Newark; maternal grandmother, Margaret Aikey; paternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Bagshaw; paternal stepgrandparents, Donald and Dorothy Hares; stepsisters, Vicky (Brian) McGrattan and Cindy Main and her friend, Scott Smith; step-brothers, Michael Garnsey and his friend, Renee Sharrow, Tyler (Susie) Hares and Jeremy (Stacy) Hares; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Chad’s wonderful doctor and friend for many years, Dr. Christopher Wright.
    Chad was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Lee Aikey; paternal grandmother, Ruth Bagshaw; paternal great-grandmother Geraldine Slate; paternal uncle, William Bagshaw.
    Family and friends called Friday, Sept. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. A Memorial Service will follow calling at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Boyd, Rosa Lee ‘Rosie’
    PALMYRA — Rosa Lee “Rosie” Boyd, 76 entered eternity on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at her home with her children by her side.
    Family and friends may call Sunday (Sept. 30) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A funeral service was held on Monday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in East Newark Cemetery.

    Rosie was born the daughter of the late Dexter and Mary (Kanode) Boyd on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1936 in Lindside, W. Va. Her parents moved the family to Newark, where Rosie graduated from high school in 1943. Rosie retired from Fold Pak where she worked as a tow motor operator and it was thought she was the first women tow motor operator at Fold Pak. She loved working with crafts and decorating cakes.
    Rosie will be remembered by her son, Bruce (Susan) Decker of Newark; daughters, Ronda (Louis) Boigos of Rochester, Wendy (Gary) Diehl of Gates and Waneta (Nathan) Sponsler of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence (Elsie) Boyd and Ray (Carol) Boyd both of Newark; sister, Linda (David) Rugenstein-Gutshall of Newark; many nieces and nephews.

    Dean, Frances J. (Gallagher)
    CLYDE — Frances J. (Gallagher) Dean, 91, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at the House of John.
    There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Church, Sodus St., Clyde. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to the House of John, 14 Spring St, Clifton Springs or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
    Frances was born Feb. 21, 1921 in Abington, Penn. to Frank and Regina Nicholson Gallagher.
    She is survived by sons, William (Mary Jane), Walter and Patrick Dean; daughters, Sarah (Edward) Griffis, Frances (Carl) Saunders; grandchildren, Ann Marie, William, Michael, Matthew, Katie, Fran, Sean, Bridget, Lauren, Casey, Camry and PJ; great-grandchildren, Shane, John, Ryan, Ashley Jane, Noah, Olivia and William; several nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Dean in 1996; daughter, Jane Cecilia Dean O'Doherty.

    Hyman, Donald C.
    PORT GIBSON: Hyman, Donald C., 84, died on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.
    Donald was born on March 24, 1928 in Newark, the son of George and Harriett Horn Hyman, Sr.  He was a graduate of Marion High School and an employee of Fold Pak for 47 years. During his life Don enjoyed camping, traveling and square and round dancing. He was active with the Silver Sneakers and always made room for his church life which was very important to him.
    Don was predeceased by his parents; his wives, Carol, Alice and Bernice; a daughter, Cheryl Votra; and brother, George Hyman Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Donna C. (George) Nichols, Pamela J. (Ken) Marsteiner and Mary Alice Adams; sisters, Joyce Smith and Nancy (Bill) Kress; brother, Glenn (Judy) Hyman; grandchildren, Michelle Cooper, Kimberly (Derrick) Watts, Matthew Adams and Clayton and Carson Votra; great-grandchildren, Hannah Inman, Heather Middleton and Hadyn McGrew, Trevor, Shane and Andrew Watts; and great-great-granddaughter, Madilynn and extended family.  
    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Port Gibson United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Port Gibson cemetery.

    SOUTH BUTLER — Mr. Daryl J. Rose, 58, of 10315 W. Main St. died unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at his home.
    At his request, services will be private. Burial will be in the Savannah-South Butler Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
    Memorial contributions to the American Heart or American Diabetes Associations would be appreciated.
    Daryl was born in Lyons on April 5, 1954, the son of Robert and Barbara Luckenbach Rose. He had been employed as an industrial supervisor at Frazier Industries
    in Waterloo. He was an avid hunter and a loving husband, father and grandfather.
    Surviving are his wife, Johanna Ibisevit Rose, of South Butler; his father and step-mother, Robert and Evelyn Rose, his son Daryl J. (Tammy) Rose of Wolcott and his
    daughter Melissa (Todd Laird) Rose, of Savannah; his grandchildren Courtney and Christopher Laird; his brothers Ron Rose of South Butler, Mark (Pam) Rose of Savannah and his sister  Linda Rose of OH.; his sister-in-law Cindy Rose and his brother-in-law David (Jonna) Ibisevit and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and
    grand nephews  and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Rose, his father and mother-in-law Suljo and Theresa Ibisveit.

    MACEDON — Sevor, Evelyn M., died on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at the age of 73.
    Family and friends were invited to call from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home,, Inc, 123 West Main Street, Palmyra where a funeral service followed calling at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Furnaceville Cemetery.

    Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Daryl Wetterings) Sevor and Sandra (Donnie Richmond) Sevor; sons, Michael (Josie) and Kevin Sevor; sisters, Pauline McCue and Judith Hand; brother, Reggie Ferguson; grandchildren, David and Matthew (Lorena) Almond, Leah, Justin, Tyleek and Tristan Sevor, Javonna and Travez and Nicholas and Jessica McCrae; great-grandchildren, Dante and Damien Almond and Leaf Almond Fisher; sister-in-law, Lana Bassage; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Wilda Payne.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Richard S. Sevor; parents, Glen and Eva Barber Ferguson; brother, Buddy Ferguson and sisters, Betty Harris, Rusty Klotzbach, Peggy Hanvey and Bernice Edwards.
