The Braves jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first quarter but were held scoreless in the second, and trailed 3-2 at halftime. Canandaigua outscored Geneva 2-1 in the third quarter to tie the score heading into the fourth, then closed the game on a 4-1 run to earn the win.
Eric Munn netted four goals and added one assist to lead Canandaigua. Dan LaCrosse scored one goal and dished out four assists, Ben Smith had one goal and one assist, Ben Northrup had one goal and Connor Moore provided one assist. Michael Cuciti made 10 saves to earn the win in goal.
Sean Cunningham recorded three goals to pace Geneva (1-1). Matt Miler had two goals, Drew Feinberg made two assists and Jesse Singleton had one assist. Derek Grillone finished with nine saves in goal.
Canandaigua will host Penn Yan on Friday at 7 p.m.
