SUMMER PLAYGROUND


Playground program is scheduled for Palmyra-Macedon residents ages 10-14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 25 through August 2, with no Playground Wednesday, July 4. Registration will be held at the PCC Monday, May 21st, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Forms are available Thursday, May 17. Cost is $140 per child, plus the cost of field trips. Payment plan available, inquire at registration.


Field trips include Red Wings game, Laser Quest, ice cream at Chill and Grill, Roseland Waterpark, Fair Haven State Park, go-carting, bowling at Palmyra Bowl, six separate movies at Showplace 6: Brave, The Amazing Spider Man, Neighborhood Watch, The Dark Night Rises, Ice Age:Continental Drift and Madagascar 3, canoeing, Rochester Museum and Science Center, Horizon F/X, Seneca Park Zoo, swimming at the Palmyra Macedon High School, Maggie Moo Day, Tornado's T'S, Minnehan's Fun Center and Thomas Creek Ice Skating. Daily recreation activities are planned such as: whiffle ball, dodge ball, allied dodge ball, kickball, handball, foosball, bumper pool, billiards, ping pong, board games, card games, football, puzzles, frisbee, home run derby, Wii and X-Box.


The program ends August 2 with a trip to Sea Breeze Amusement Park. For More information call Jim at 597-5501.


KIDS SUMMER CAMP


Kids Kamp is scheduled for children ages 5 to 9 who live in Palmyra-Macedon. This program will be held at the Palmyra-Macedon Primary School, Monday through Friday, starting Monday, June 25, and ending Friday August 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost for the seven week program is $400 per Child and includes: arts and crafts and bumper bowling at the Palmyra Bowl, miniature golf at Sports Works, weekly swimming at the Palmyra-Macedon High School, along with weekly visits to Kings Daughters Library and other local points of interest in Palmyra. In addition, field trips include Seneca Park Zoo, Seneca Lake State Park, Long Acres Farms, Horizon Fun F/X, Fair Haven State Park, go-carts at Countryline Raceway, Strong Museum and two Movies at Showplace Theater: Brave and Ice Age. Registration for Kids Kamp is Monday, May 21 at the PCC From 6 to 9:30 p.m. Forms will be available Thursday, May 17th. Program is limited to the first 55 registered and payed. Payment plan is available.


"AFTER CAMP" PROGRAM


"After Camp" is an additional summer program being offered by the PCC. This weekly program is held at the PCC Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and runs the same dates as our kids kamp (6/25-8/10) and summer playground (6/25-8/2). This program is open to only those children enrolled in either our kids kamp and/or summer playground. This is a week to week program, with costs set at  $50 per week, with a 20 percent discount for each additional child.
