  • Newark — Saner, J. Constance, 91, went home to be with the Lord March 10, 2013. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
    She is survived by her children, Lenhart (Deborah) Saner of Branchport, Yvonne Saner of Newark and Debra (Keith) Gierman of Macedon; grandson Jason (Kelly) Saner of Branchport; granddaughters Melissa Bolling of Spokane, Wash., and Julee Saner of Tucson, Ariz.; great-grandchildren Camden Bolling and Charlotte Grace and Jack Saner; sister Martha Carpenter of Clyde. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Donald E. Saner; and her sister Margaret Rogers.
    Connie was born the daughter of the late Lenhart and Georgianna (Malchoff) Bramer on Friday, November 4, 1921 in Clyde. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, she was accomplished at counted cross-stitch and many other crafts. She had a lifelong interest in the British royal family, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to England.
    Connie felt very blessed to have such a devoted family and she took great delight in family gatherings and any time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
    Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. March 15 at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A celebration of her life will take place at 10 a.m. March 16. The family requests the courtesy of no flowers, and to instead direct memorial gifts in Connie's name to: Lifetime Care- Hospice of Newark, 800 Miller St. Newark; Wayne County Meals on Wheels, 1519 Nye Road, Suite 400, Lyons, 14489; and Redeemer Lutheran Church, 102 Hope Ave, Newark, 14513.
