  • The case of the Stanley woman charged with killing her husband will head to an Ontario County grand jury.
    Rose Chase, 31, of 2215 Mott Road, was charged Friday, Dec. 14, with second-degree murder for allegedly “intentionally causing the death” of her husband of 11 years, Adam Chase, 31, in June, said Ontario County Sheriff Philip Povero.
    A preliminary hearing was scheduled for this morning in Canandaigua City Court, but the case was waived to grand jury.
    Ontario County District Attorney R. Michael Tantillo said he expects to present the case to a grand jury in January.
