Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, an affiliate of Rochester General Health System, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Goldstein, M.D., a gastroenterologist, has joined the Newark-Wayne Medical Staff and is now providing diagnostic and treatment services for intestional/colorectal conditions in Wayne County.

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, an affiliate of Rochester General Health System, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Goldstein, M.D., a gastroenterologist, has joined the Newark-Wayne Medical Staff and is now providing diagnostic and treatment services for intestional/colorectal conditions in Wayne County. Goldstein is the Director of Gastroenterology Outreach for Rochester General Health System. He will see patients on Thursdays at 75 Sunset Drive, Newark (at the Rochester Cardiopulmonary Office), and will perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Dr. Goldstein is a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed his residency training at Strong Memorial Hospital. In addition, he completed fellowship training at Jackson Memorial Hospital on Miami. He is currently on the faculty and serves as an attending physician at Rochester General Hospital.

As part of its major modernization project and to accommodate and increased need for these services, Newark-Wayne opened a new state-of-the-art Endoscopy Suite this past summer. Mohamed Alsalahi, MD, also provides gastroenterology services through the Rochester General Medical Group Gastroenterology practice, also at Newark-Wayne.
