Accident leads to DWI arrest
MACEDON — A Macedon man was charged June 16 with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .11 percent and moving from lane unsafely, Macedon police said.
Kurry L. Ludolph, 27, was arrested after an investigation into a one-car motor vehicle accident in which a car went into a ditch on Route 31 and Wayneport Road, police said. Ludolph was found to be operating the vehicle when he allegedly failed to maintain his lane and went into the ditch.
He was released to a third party and is to appear in the Macedon Town Court on July 9 at 4:30 p.m.
Woman charged with larceny
PALMYRA — A Palmyra woman was charged with petit larceny, Palmyra police said.
Erin M. Homer, 27, of 363 W. Jackson St., allegedly took two cans of Red Bull from the Dollar General and was seen exiting the store without paying for them, police said. Outside the sore, when stopped by a store employee, she allegedly pulled the two drinks out of a backpack she was carrying.
She was issued an appearance tickets for Palmyra Village Court and released.
Man allegedly restrains victim
PALMYRA — A Palmyra man was charged June 17 with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment, Palmyra police said.
Xiong “Jim” Q. Yeh, 54, of 212 E. Main St., Apt. 8, allegedly restrained the victim by her wrists and threw her on the bed, police said.
He was arraigned in Palmyra Village Court and released on his own recognizance.
Man charged with DWI
ONTARIO — The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reports the arrest of Sean M. Keim, 24, of 3175 Walworth Road, Walworth, for driving while intoxicated.
Keim was observed by deputies pulling his vehicle over to the shoulder of the roadway while driving on Ridge Road. Deputies stopped to verify that this vehicle was not broken down. While talking with Keim, deputies noticed multiple open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. After further investigation, Keim was arrested for driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC greater than .18 percent.
He was processed at the Wayne County Public Safety Building, released on tickets, and is set to appear in Ontario Town Court to answer the charges at a later date.
Men arrested for burglary
PALMYRA — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on June 18 for second-degree burglary and endangering the welfare of a child.
After 911 received a call from a 15-year-old girl stating someone was in her residence on Jagger Road in Palmyra, police responded and two suspects fled the residence. They were caught on Cambier Road a short distance from the residence and arrested without incident. It appears the suspects left without taking anything.
John Camacho, 26, of 768 Ridge Road, Ontario, and Robert Fisher, 23, of 6090 Lillypond Way, Ontario, were charged with second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.
They were arraigned in Palmyra Town Court and committed to jail on a $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Newark man arrested for criminal trespass
ARCADIA — Terrence S. Hubright, 26, of 108 Vienna Road, Lot 7, Newark, was arrested June 17 for second-degree criminal trespass after it was alleged that he entered a residence on Sand Hill Road after having been previously kicked off the property by the owner and told not to return.
Hubright was arraigned in Lyons Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is to return to Arcadia Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Man threatens person with baseball bat
ONTARIO — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anthony J. Subler, 41, of Lakeside Road, Ontario, on June 17, following an investigation into a domestic disturbance.
It is alleged that during a domestic disturbance, Subler threatened another person with a metal baseball bat. He was charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment.
Subler was arraigned in Ontario Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of bail, and will appear in court at a later date.
Man arrested for DWI
MACEDON — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Fairport man for driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right on June 14.
Vinh Q. Pham, 54, of Balsam Lane, Fairport, was operating his vehicle west on Route 31F and was observed by a Sheriff’s deputy crossing the center line and enter the eastbound lane before returning to his lane of travel. Pham was stopped on Route 31F and, after a police investigation, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Pham was arraigned in Macedon Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail on bail. He will return at a later date to answer the charges.
Man arrested for choking, harassment
PALMYRA/MARION — Douglas J. Mawson Jr., 26, of Macedon Center Road, Palmyra, was arrested June 12 after an investigation into a domestic incident involving Mawson and his girlfriend.
During the argument, it is alleged that Mawson pushed his girlfriend to the ground causing her to strike her head. He also grabbed her by the neck and choked her during the argument. Mawson was arrested for criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment.
He was arraigned in Marion Town Court and released on his own recognizance. Mawson will return to court at a later date to answer the charges.
Man arrested for setting house on fire
SODUS POINT — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Brett T. Forgione, 32, of Sodus Point, following the investigation of a house fire.
The Sodus Point Fire Department responded to a house fire at 7210 Route 14, in the village of Sodus Point on May 14, and handled a house fire with the assistance of the Wallington and Alton fire departments. Following the fire, an investigation was conducted, and subsequently the homeowner was arrested for setting the fire.
Forgione was charged by felony complaint with one count of third-degree arson, a Class C felony. He was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and committed to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 insured bond, and will answer the charge in Sodus Town Court at a later date.
Man arrested following parking issue
WALWORTH — The Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eugene Vanopdorp, 49, of Silver Street, Clifton Springs, following an argument over a parking issue on County Line Road on June 14.
Vanopdorp allegedly threw a sawhorse in a yard, causing damage to the sawhorse. He was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief and was issued an appearance ticket.
He is to appear in Walworth Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
Man charged with DWI
ARCADIA — Raymond A. Robinson, 55, of 5557 Railroad St., Sodus, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 88 in Arcadia on June 15.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies investigated and determined that Robinson was driving under the influence of alcohol and he was taken into custody. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a BAC of .08 percent or more.
He was released with traffic tickets and is to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
