Santa arrived with “ho ho ho’s” and a sack full of gifts for a crowd of children at Blue Heron Hills Golf Club’s Breakfast with Santa Dec. 11.

Amid excited cheers and chants from children and adults alike, Santa arrived with “ho ho ho’s” and a sack full of gifts for a crowd of children at Blue Heron Hills Golf Club’s Breakfast with Santa Dec. 11.

Over 200 people attended the popular event, which featured a festive buffet breakfast, a reading of “T’was the Night Before Christmas” by Blue Heron Hills’ co-owner Nick Everhart, and a visit from everyone’s favorite elf, Santa. As Santa sat by the Christmas tree in the center of the ballroom, children took turns telling Santa their Christmas wishes while parents snapped photos.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better turn-out,” said Everhart.

Co-owner Eric Geoca agreed.

“We wanted to invite the community in and spread some holiday-time cheer,” he said. “It couldn’t have been a better ending to a successful inaugural year as new owners.”

For those looking for something to do New Year’s Eve, Blue Heron Hills is hosting a “Count Down to 2011” New Year’s Eve Party.
