  • Newark resident Kaye Stone-Gansz has recently been named the 2013 Female Entrepreneur of the Year by the New York State Small Business Development Center at an April 29 awards ceremony in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
    The awarded is presented annually to a female owned and operated business venture that has made a significant impact on growth and employment opportunities throughout the state. Stone-Gansz, a 25-year veteran of Xerox, is the president and CEO of Stone Goose Enterprises Inc. and the owner and operator of Smith’s Gravel Pit.
    She is an executive board member of the Wayne County Business Council and Professional Women of Wayne County, and also serves on the board of the Sodus Rotary.
