Major renovation went into the building from top to bottom; new windows, roof, plus electrical and plumbing repairs. The store now boasts smooth walls and beautiful bamboo flooring. The original top of the front windows has been maintained and will be back lit to show off the uniqueness of them. A slide show revealed just how much work was done to the building.

Deborah Brown and her daughter, Stephanie, will be stocking the elements needed to make a quilt and also demonstrating the how to skill needed from beginner to advanced quilt maker. Large tables and comfortable chairs, and an overhead projector for step and step illustration, are just some of the tools that they will use. They plan on having several workshops and seminars during the year. Christmastime will feature the instructions on making one of a kind "elf" stockings.

Even if you're not in to sewing, you'll be drawn to all the pretty colors and softness of the high quality cotton on display. The future will be bringing sewing lessons, sale of sewing machines and many more interesting things. Gift certificates will be available any time of the year. The Quilting Bee, located on 10 Maple Ave in Sodus, (315) 553-2383 and the Village's newest business, promises to be a place of learning, fun, and imagination.
