    Event highlights
1 More than 700 volunteers are cast into 1,200 roles within hours of arriving at the Hill. After just one week of rigorous rehearsals, the outdoor theater production begins. Volunteers come here at their own expense from as close to home as Rochester and as far away as China.
2 The Pageant is a time of spiritual renewal in the cradle of the Mormon faith.
3 The volunteer cast will also perform more than 1,800 hours of volunteer community service, landscaping at local parks, painting a bridge, cataloguing at an historic library and clearing trails in Wayne and Ontario counties.
