    ONTARIO — Passed peacefully on January 30, 2012 at age 84. Predeceased by his loving wife Eva. Survived by his children, Gayle (Bill) Burnett, Jim (Robin) Bauerschmidt; grandchildren, Beau & Chad Bauerschmidt, April (David) Diaz, Katie (Paul) Ruggero; great grandsons, Christian & Jacoby Diaz; several nieces, nephews & close friends.
    All are invited to call 2-4 & 7-9PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario, where his Funeral Service will be held 10AM Thursday, followed by his Committal Service at Smith Cemetery. Donations may be made to Fairport Baptist Home in his memory.
    Classey, Rosalie M.
    Newark/formerly of Lyons — Rosalie Marie Classey, 97 entered eternity on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Wayne County Nursing Home with her devoted daughters by her side.
    Family and friends may call Tuesday (Jan. 31) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday (Feb. 1) at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, S. Main St., Newark. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Lyons.

    Mrs. Classey was born the daughter of the late Louis and Emily (DePaw) VanDermortel on Thursday, April 2, 1914 in Newark, NY. She attended school in Newark through the eighth grade when she left to help support her family during the Depression. She worked for the Hickok Corp. in Lyons, Newark Developmental Center and later in life at the Senior Companion Program at Newark Developmental Center.
    Mrs. Classey was a life member of St. Michael Church in Newark and Lyons. She was a dedicated fan of the Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen.
    Mrs. Classey will be remembered by her daughters Kathleen Benzel and Sarah Stevens both of Newark; grandchildren William (Judy) Benzel, Seth Benzel and his friend Holli, Paul (Kim) Taylor and Lisa (Tony) Gill; great grandchildren Katie, Aidan, Karina, Connor, Griffin, Liam and Benjamin; many nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Classey was predeceased by her husband Vincent Classey in 1972; daughter Suzanne Classey in 1963; brothers Walter, Cornelius and Raymond; sisters Emma and Marie.

    Hamelynck, Sandra J.
    Newark — Sandra Jean Hamelynck, 67 entered eternity on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Geneva Hospital.
    Family and friends may call Thursday (Feb. 2) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Funeral Service will be Friday (Feb. 3) at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Newark Cemetery.

    Mrs. Hamelynck was born the daughter of the late William and Frances (Cameron) McMillin on Tuesday, June 13, 1944 in Clifton Springs, NY. She worked for Fold Pak Corp. for over 32 years as a packer.
    Page 2 of 3 - Mrs. Hamelynck was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Newark. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Palmyra where she held many positions. She was very active in the American Legion and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Newark. Spending time with family, grandchildren and great grandchildren was one of her favorite times.
    Mrs. Hamelynck will be remembered by her loving husband of 50 years Gene Hamelynck Sr.; son Gene (Jody) Hamelynck Jr.; daughter Candy (David) Tucker; grandchildren Stephen and Joshua Hamelynck and Kayla (Jason) Belcher; great grandchildren Damien and Sean; brother Gary (Sharon) McMillin; sisters Bonnie (Gerald) Hamelynck, Kelli McMillin; sister-in-law Bonnie (CP) Adkins; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Mrs. Hamelynck was predeceased by her sister Debbie Edwards.

    Henry, Robert Lawrence
    CLYDE — Mr. Robert L. Henry, 77, of 72 Galen St., died at his residence on Sunday (January 29, 2012) , following a brief illness.
    Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (February 3, 2012) from 4 to 7 PM at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. Clyde. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (February 4, 2012) at 10:00AM in the Christ Community Church (W. Genesee ST, Clyde) with Rev. Dana Rattray officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Cemetery.
    Mr. Henry was born in the Town of Rose on November 4, 1934, the son of Benton and Catherine Bowden Henry. As a lifelong resident of Clyde, Robert graduated Clyde High School and went on to attend the State University of New York at Morrisville, where he also played basketball. On July 3, 1954 he married the former Elizabeth MacDougall. Being an avid sportsman and fan, he also played softball for the Xerox Industrial Team while being employed at the Xerox Corporation. Bob was a huge NY Yankee fan, and enjoyed watching all sports.
    Surviving are the mother of his children, Betty Henry of Clyde, his daughters Dawn (Gene) Cinelli of Lyons and Tami (Leonard) DiSanto of Clyde; his sons Robert Scott Henry of Auburn and Todd (Andrea) Henry of Clyde; his 8 grandchildren, Erin Dorval, Megan Carnevale, Justin DiSanto, Jordan Cinelli, Andrew DiSanto, Libby Henry, Jillian Henry, and Timothy Henry; 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
    Robert was pre-deceased by his two brothers Billie J. Henry and Donald B. Henry.

    Newark — Marie Ornt (Whitlock) Schermerhorn, 75 entered eternity on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the House of John.
    Family and friends may call Sunday (Feb. 5) from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Graveside Service will be Monday (Feb. 6) at 11 a.m. in East Newark Cemetery on Vienna St.
